The dates of The 12th Gathering for 2010 are: May 6, 7, 8, 9.
You will be arriving the evening of Thursday, May 6th and leaving Sunday after 11:00am May 9th.

Some details:
You will be arriving Thursday night May 6th, in time for a snack and a tour of this beautiful facility. Friday and Saturday are full days, with lots of time for reflection and companionship. Sunday the check out time is 11:00am.

Yes, it is Mother’s Day weekend.
Although this was not planned, we will use it to our advantage to explore the True meaning of motherhood and womanhood so that when you return to your loved ones, you will have a deeper and more expansive experience of Love. It will be a gift to them.

A Personal Story:
Because I was divorced from the father of my three children when they were young, I learned long ago that the dates that someone else (usually “governmental”) has set for a specific holiday had to stop meaning something to me.

Instead I choose to set new dates for those holidays, so my children would not feel the need to choose between two people they loved.

Now they are grown and Del and I live within driving distance of 6 of our children and both our Mom’s and his Dad. Yet, we still have to make those same choices about choosing other dates so that they are free to go to their spouses, or significant others, homes for the official date.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are celebrated within our big personal family on the Saturday following the “real” date. We have learned to love these dates as all the pressure is off and the concept can be celebrated instead of the holiday.

This year will be the first year Mom will be without my dad on Mother’s day. We will be asking her if we can come a week later to celebrate and I know that will be all that is important to her, that we will come to celebrate her gift of motherhood with her.

For those of you who are making this choice for the first time, I do understand, and I hope this little story helps you find your way to see that holidays are man-made, and celebrations of love and motherhood are the Divine’s.
